JERRY HOLLIDAY

Storyteller / Myth-Maker

ABOUT

Jerry Holliday is a folk-blues singer-songwriter based near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born in Louisiana and raised across the Mid-South, he grew up as a pastor’s kid, learning music in the church and absorbing the traditions of country gospel and old hymns.

Before performing under his current name, Holliday was known as Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, a period that brought national attention for his voice and songwriting. But his new work marks a return — not just to the sound of the South, but to the people and places that first gave him a sense of home. Jerry is his father’s name. Holliday, his maternal grandmother’s.

His latest single, White Stag Blues, is the first offering from an upcoming EP — a collection shaped by solitude, memory, and the quiet pull of home. These songs are spare and lived-in, moving with the weight of longing and tracing the outlines of loss, return, and the ghosts we carry with us.
